Effective Responses to Otolaryngology Emergencies
In this hands-on, simulation based training course at the UC San Diego Center of the Future of Surgery and simulation labs, interns and rising PGY-2s across Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada collaborate and participate in simulation based activities with a particular focus on emergent airway management, epistaxis, facial trauma, and cadaver dissection.

On August 6, 2022, we successfully completed our 3rd annual Southwest Otolaryngology Hands-on Boot Camp.
All 10 Southwest programs (UCLA, USC, Cedars Sinai, UCI, Mayo-Arizona, Univ of Arizona, UNLV, Loma Linda US Naval Medical Center and UCSD) came to our Society of University (SUO) course with their junior residents and some of their visiting faculty.
