Otolaryngology Virtual Subinternship for 4th Year Medical Students

​In addition to in person subinternship rotations with our program, we are continuing our successful Otolaryngology Virtual Subinternship for 4th Year Medical Students for those interested in learning more about our residency training program.

About the Program

The UC San Diego Otolaryngology Virtual Subinternship for 4th Year Medical Student program will run monthly from August to October 2022 in two week rotations. This is intended for MS4 students. Most meetings will be held via zoom.

Students who are accepted for participation in the UC San Diego Otolaryngology Virtual Subinternship for 4th Year Medical Students rotation will:

  1. Attend conferences, didactics, and journal club.
  2. Spend time with our residents.
  3. Meet our faculty one on one and join them during interactive discussions with our residents.

How to Apply

Students interested in applying should complete the online application.

Once notification is received that the student has been accepted to our subinternship, the student is expected to obtain approval from their home institution for this virtual rotation.
