A clinical professor of surgery, Dr. Weisman directs the UCSD Head and Neck Oncology program and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers of the head and neck. His interests and experience also include plastic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck, surgery of the orbit, and trauma of the head and neck. Dr. Weisman also specializes in thyroid and parathyroid gland disorders, and sees patients specifically with these disorders in a multi-specialty clinic at the UCSD Moores Cancer Center.  This is Dr. Weisman's sixth consecutive year on the list.

Dr. Watson, an Associate Professor of Surgery, specializes in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and is the director of our Residency Program. Her surgical expertise includes rhinoplasty and complex nasal reconstruction, cosmetic surgery of the face, and Moh's and auricular reconstruction. She also has extensive research interests, and is currently working on cartilage engineering for application to facial reconstruction.

Our children's ear, nose and throat specialist, Dr. Magit sees patients under 18 years of age at Rady Children's Hospital of San Diego. Dr. Magit, an associate clinical professor of surgery and pediatrics, has been with UCSD since 1992. This is also his sixth consecutive year on the "San Diego's Top Doctors" list. Dr. Magit has done extensive research on common otolaryngic problems affecting children, including numerous studies on otitis media (middle ear infections).
