UCSD Method: Grand Rounds is a small portion of the Head and Neck Surgery Educational Program at UCSD. Grand Rounds provides the resident two unique opportunities. The first is to focus on a topic of their own choosing and perform an in-depth literature review. The second is to organize a summary and oral presentation of their topic. This is typically performed with PowerPoint slide presentations.

Accreditation Statement: The University of California, San Diego School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The University of California, San Diego School of Medicine designates this educational activity for one credit per hour of Category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
